Stephane Sessegnon expects Sunderland to finish the season strongly.
Sessegnon is convinced they can lift themselves again and finish strongly.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "Of course, there's a bit of tiredness. We're approaching the end of the season and the Premier League is very difficult. You don't get any easy matches and of course you get tired.
"But it's not an excuse. We've got to keep being solid and have the desire to do as well as we can for the rest of the season.
"There's four matches left and we want to finish the season on a high. We want to do better than last year and there's only four matches that we can do that in.
"We're all desperate to finish in the top 10 and I'm sure we'll give everything because it's important to do that.
"It was our objective at the start of the season and we need to go into the summer having finished the year well."
