Serie A clubs are aware of Matteo Darmian's availability at Manchester United.
The Italy fullback is expected to be sold in January if United can land AS Monaco defender Fabinho.
Juventus and Inter Milan have already been linked with a bid for the 26-year-old Italy international.
Other Serie A sides could also prepare a swoop, including Napoli, Fiorentina and Roma.
Darmian joined United just a year ago from Torino.
