Barcelona whizkid Sergi Samper has paid tribute to former coach Eusebio Sacristan.

Eusebio was sacked a fortnight ago and replaced by Jordi Vinyals.

Samper said of Eusebio: "I'll always be grateful to him.

"I played in 40 games last season in the Second Division when I was still an U19 player, he gave me the chance to make my debut and play."
