"Already in preseason you can see how important it is to have a deep squad," he said. "We have been left without four teammates due to injury going into La Liga and it's good to have players available in each position. The players that have arrived are really good and I hope they adapt well.

"We go into the season a little tired, but that's how the calendar is. You can never stop. Logically there's no objective other than being champions again, but I'm sure that Madrid, Atletico and other sides won't make it easy for us. It will be a tough competition, for sure."
