Torino goalkeeper Matteo Sereni insists he won't be driven away by the boo-boys.
"The ugliest moment in my career was when I unjustly received insults from a small section of the fans," Sereni explained.
"They were insults that wounded me as a man. If I were a mercenary player I would have asked the club to cancel my contract and left.
"Instead I stayed and transformed those insults into a competitive anger," he added, no doubt referring to his recent performances that have coincided with Torino going on a four match unbeaten run.
"The work with Gandini [Torino's goalkeeper Coach] has got me back to full fitness. I feel good, train in a certain way and have been able to get back to my best."
