Sporting Kansas City has signed Serbian midfielder Milos Stojcev from homeland club Borac Cacak.

The 24-year-old joins Kansas City after spending all of his professional career thus far in Serbia.

The Red Star Belgrade youth academy product will occupy an international roster spot and his arrival has excited manager Peter Vermes.

"Milos is a creative midfielder that can give the final pass and find the back of the net," Vermes said.

"These qualities will be very valuable for us throughout the upcoming season."
