The Serbian FA have confirmed coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is moving to Sampdoria.
Mihajlovic will be released from his contract after this week's friendlies.
"In a few days we will have a clearer idea of the situation," Serbian Federation President Tomislav Karadzic was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I would like him to remain at the helm of our national team, but even if I haven't spoken to Sampdoria President Edoardo Garrone, I am not optimistic on Sinisa's chances of staying with us."
