FC Seoul coach Senol Gunes has maintained the club’s focus of winning the Asian Champions League title this season.
The K-League club take on Kashima Antlers in Japan on Wednesday night after finishing second in their group but Gunes is confident of getting a positive result.
“One of our top priorities this season was to win the Champions League title. As such, we will have to focus on facing the Kashima Antlers in the final 16,” he told local media.
The fact that Seoul defeated reigning Asian champions Gamba Osaka in the group stage bodes well for Gunes’ men.
"It was the game we had to win. I was delighted with the victory," added Gunes.
"Gamba were technically a better side, but we matched them by playing with all our might."
