Korean club Seongnam lhwa have stamped their authority on the Asian Champions League with a stirring 4-1 win over Suwon Bluewings in the quarter-final first leg.
Dzenan Radoncic got the home side off to a flying start when he netted in the 7th minute although Suwon managed to equalise less than ten minutes later when South Korea international Yeom Ki-hun whipped home a free-kick past his national teammate Jung Sun-ryong.
But Seongnam stormed back into proceedings when Mauricio Molina restored their lead just after the half-hour mark and then Radoncic grabbed his second in the 66th minute.
A late own goal from Suwon made it 4-1 - a result which pleased coach Shin Tae-yong greatly.
"We were able to play our football and it wasn't just long-ball," he said.
"It wasn't the pitch. We took advantage of Suwon on the flanks. Li Weifeng and Yang Sung-min are good players but we believed that Song Ho-young could do a good job against them.
"Now we have to go to Suwon and finish the job."
