Fulham are checking on Freiburg ace Demba Cisse, skysports.com understands. The 25-year-old Senegal international forward has been in great form since moving to Germany in January this year from Metz.
Now his displays are attracting attention from a number of clubs, with Fulham emerging as one of the interested parties.
It is believed the Cottagers have watched Demba three times this season, and will have no doubt been impressed by his displays.
German sources suggest that although they have financial issues, Freiburg would resist any offers to sell him until the summer - when they would likely look for a fee of around £4million for him.
