Philippe Senderos is unhappy he has had to remain at Arsenal. The Swiss international defender was linked with a move to Everton, Fulham, Hull and Newcastle during the transfer window but nothing came of the interest.

The 24-year old, who spent last season on loan with AC Milan, is out of favour with Arsene Wenger and was annoyed about the fact he was remaining at Emirates Stadium.

The centre-back snapped: "I am staying put and that's all there is to say on the matter."

Senderos is now in danger of being dropped from the Switzerland national squad if he cannot gain regular first team football.
