Philippe Senderos is ready to quit Arsenal in January.

The defender, who has spent six years with the Gunners, fears for his World Cup finals place with Switzerland after making just two Carling Cup appearances this season.

Senderos, boss Arsene Wenger's fourth-choice centre-back, said: "I need to seek a solution as I'm not playing for Arsenal. A change of clubs in winter is an option - I am keeping all doors open.

"This is a difficult time. It is like a test that I have to come through, but I believe in God and have to stay strong."
