Franco Semioli insists Fiorentina deserve fourth place ahead of rivals AC Milan.

"We want to reach this objective at all costs," Semioli explained. "We want to erase the disappointment we felt at missing out on the Final of the UEFA Cup.

"I think we deserve to finish above Milan, even if you can never take anything for granted in football.

"There's no doubt that we will be more motivated than Torino, who have just secured survival in Serie A, but we will still have to fight to the end.

"We can't expect an easy ride because you have to earn a place in the Champions League."
