Sell-on clause stalling Spurs deal for Real Madrid midfielder Diarra

A sell-on clause is holding up Tottenham's deal for Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra.

After initially demanding €20 million for the France international, Real have now agreed a fee of €11.5 million with Spurs.

However, Marca says due to the low price, Real are insisting on a hefty percentage of any sell-on fee - which Spurs are unhappy with.

Negotiations will continue today, with Diarra eager to see the deal happen.
