Clarence Seedorf is delighted to have been named new coach of Deportivo La Coruna.
The former AC Milan boss was named Depor coach on Monday.
Seedorf stated: "Thanks to Depor for this opportunity to help the club, it is in a difficult situation, but life has these moments, I am very happy to return to work in football and return to work in a club with a lot of history, in a league that gave me a lot as a player and launched my career, it seems destiny, I return as a coach to do the same.
"Depor is a club with a lot of history, it does not deserve to be where it is, but in sports, even doing things well you do not have the results, I am a person who likes to take the hot potato.
"It's already very easy, I think it's possible, that I can give something important to the club and that the club to me too."
On his lack of experience, the former Real Madrid midfielder added: "Zidane had less experience than When I started in Madrid, we had to see the quality of the person, the potential ... with Milan we did a good job but it was not an easy moment for the club."
