AC Milan boss Clarence Seedorf was happy with victory over Bologna on Friday.
It was achieved in front of Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.
"The presence and support of the President was important. He was timely in his intervention, not tied to any results, but rather to plan for the future," he said of a dinner with Silvio Berlusconi and CEO Adriano Galliani this week.
"We are all united and Berlusconi only confirmed that. I often speak to the President. Unfortunately, there are some who want to divide and create controversy where none exists," said Seedorf.
