Seedorf backs AC Milan move for Barcelona's Ronaldinho

Clarence Seedorf says he'd welcome Barcelona ace Ronaldinho to AC Milan - though the Brazilian can forget about taking the club's No10 shirt off him.

"I will be happy if he comes to Milan because he is another great champion," the Dutch international said. "I would welcome him. His arrival would give us all a boost."

However, it seems that the Suriname-born star wouldn't want the newcomer to take his No 10 shirt.

"When I arrived at Milan from Inter, where I had the No 10 shirt, I didn't get it because I was behind Manuel Rui Costa," he recalled.

"Then, when Manuel left, I asked if I could have that number, as it has always been my favourite and I think that goes for everyone.

"But I'm not involved in these discussions and I just hope that the club does what is necessary.

"The Coach and the directors know what is needed and will find players who can make the difference."
