Seedorf: AC Milan priority will be Champions League

Clarence Seedorf admits AC Milan's priority is to win the Champions League this season.

Milan enter the competition as Serie A winners.

"Milan's objective is the Champions League and we've got to have more faith in our capabilities," said the midfielder.

"We may not be Barcelona in terms of individuals, but we have enough talent to aim high. We've got to combine strong self-confidence with keeping our feet on the ground."

Seedorf had strongly considered walking away from San Siro this summer, but opted to remain for another year instead.

"I always want at least 10 goals per season, but playing in a deeper position that is difficult. The results of the team are always more important than those of the individual.

"We have a lot of quality, but above all a strong team ethic and we proved that last term during difficult moments. I'm glad if more quality players arrive, as that'll make us even more competitive."
