Juventus are moving ahead of AC Milan in their battle for Palermo striker Amauri.
Controcampo says Juve chief Alessio Secco has had daily telephone conversations with Palermo counterpart Rino Foschi about the Brazilian.
AC Milan remain in the frame, but the Brazilian is third on their priorities list behind Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Lyon's Karim Benzema - which has left Amauri unimpressed.
The Brazilian will leave Palermo in the summer and if he is to remain in Italy, Secco is positioning Juve as favourites for the centre-forward.
