Former New York Red Bulls defender Jeff Parke is trialling with Anderlecht. The 26-year-old left Major League Soccer after failing a drugs test at the end of the 2008 season. He was selected by the Seattle Sounders in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft back in November, but did not sign a contract.

Anderlecht are also reportedly interested in signing Dilly Duka, a United States Under-20 midfielder, who was on the books of New York Red Bull.
