Obafemi Martins looks likely to remain with Spanish club Levante according to journalist Carlos Ayats Perez.
The Nigerian striker, formerly of Newcastle United and Inter Milan fame, has been heavily linked with a move to MLS club Seattle Sounders but it has been suggested that he will be staying put with Levante who are preparing for their Europa League Round of 16 first leg against Martins' former club Rubin Kazan on Thursday.
"@oba_martins has trained normally with @LevanteUD and tomorrow probably is gonna play against Rubin. Still status quo between clubs," Ayats Perez posted on Twitter.
Since arriving from Rubin in September 2013, Martins has scored a total of nine goals in 26 appearances in all competitions including a goal in both of the Europa League Round of 32 legs against Olympiakos.
