Nelson Valdez has denied claims he is set to leave Seattle Sounders for the Colombian league.
The 32-year-old striker joined the Sounders from German club Eintracht Frankfurt as a Designated Player in August last year but has already been linked with Atletico Nacional and Independiente Medellin.
However, the Paraguay international revealed via Instagram that he will not be leaving Seattle anytime soon.
"Only rumours: I'm proud to be a Sounder and very happy in Seattle," he wrote.
"Don't want to raise false hopes or disappoint my fans!
"Thank you all for your good messages."
Former Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund forward Valdez scored two goals in 10 appearances for the Sounders in the second half of last season.
