Seattle Sounders sign Danish midfielder Sivebaek

Seattle Sounders have acquired Danish midfielder Christian Sivebaek.

The 23-year old joins from homeland club Midtjylland and will be officially added to the Sounders roster upon receipt of his international transfer clearance.

Sounders technical director Chris Henderson is excited about the arrival of the former Denmark youth international.

"He is a good one-versus-one dribbler who can provide consistent quality service to our strikers," Henderson said.

"He has good speed and physical presence."
