Seattle Sounders went top of the MLS standings on the weekend courtesy of a 2-0 home victory over previous leaders Real Salt Lake.
The Sounders produced another impressive display in front of another crowd of more than 50,000 and head coach Sigi Schmid is all for the capacity attendances packing out CenturyLink Field to assist the players reach their potential.
"Keep 'em coming. Keep those big crowds coming. The more we do that, the better it is," Schmid said after the win.
"Our team reacts well to that - the energy, the excitement. I think the noise was fantastic. The amount of people that stayed at the end of the game was fantastic. I think the crowd definitely helps us and it's a big plus for us.
"I don't think we'll always have (Seattle Seahawks quarterback) Russell Wilson in the stands, because he drew a pretty big ovation, but we wish him and the Seahawks best of luck for Sunday, but I think we are creating something in our own right as well."
