MLS champions Colorado Rapids have acquired Gambian midfielder Sanna Nyassi from expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 21-year old has landed at the Rapids after Vancouver took him from Seattle Sounders as the first selection in the Expansion Draft and then traded him to Colorado for an international roster spot.

Nyassi was a key player for the Sounders in 2010, appearing in 24 matches, but will now saddle up with the MLS Cup winners in 2011.
