Seattle Sounders midfielder Sanna Nyassi has been called up by the Gambia national team.
The 21-year old has been called upon for Gambia's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Namibia, forcing him out of Seattle's US Open semi-final.
The Sounders take on Chivas USA in the final four match on Wednesday but will be without Nyassi who has started the last six MLS matches for his club.
