Kenny Cooper says he is thoroughly looking forward to forming a dangerous attacking line at Seattle Sounders.
The former Manchester United, 1860 Munich, Portland Timbers and New York Red Bulls striker joined the Sounders from FC Dallas last week in a trade and is excited about the impending relationships he is set to form with ex-Premier League stars Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins.
"They're both players that I really admire. Clint has had an incredible career abroad and also with the national team and MLS," said Cooper.
"I had an opportunity to meet him once in a camp and I know he's a great guy. I'm looking forward to seeing him again.
"Clint and Obafemi and Chad Marshall, there are so many players in the team who are so talented and have so much great experience. I'm really keeping my mind open, but I'm looking forward to spending time around these guys - playing with them, learning from them, and being their teammate."
Cooper spent the 2013 MLS season with Dallas, scoring six goals in 31 appearances, following a successful 2012 where he netted 18 times for the Red Bulls.
