Seattle Sounders have named Deportivo Cali striker Freddy Montero in it's pre-training camp squad. Colombian youngster Montero has been linked with Real Betis and Getafe of Spain, but is ready to do preseason with the Sounders in a bid to win a deal from coach Sigi Schmid.

Among Seattle Sounders' USL players named in the squad is former Leeds United and Colorado Rapids defender Danny Jackson.
