Seattle Sounders are being linked with Valencia centre-forward Fernando Morientes. The former Liverpool and Real Madrid star is off contract at Valencia in June and knows he has little chance of it being renewed.
Morientes' minders have been contacted by MLS intermediaries and Seattle are among interested clubs.
