Freddie Ljungberg is being linked with a future move to Seattle Sounders' MLS rivals New York Red Bull.
The former Arsenal and West Ham United star says he is unsure of what will happen when his Sounders contract expires in November but left the door ajar for a shift elsewhere.
"We'll see what happens. It's the transfer window and my contract is up here in November. We'll see what happens. We'll see," he told the Seattle Times.
But Ljungberg did admit he was enjoying himself in Seattle, indicating that he could very well stay.
"Yeah, I've said before that I love Seattle," he added. "The fans have been -- I don't even know how to describe it -- they've taken me with open arms and been amazing, even when I walk down the street or in the stadiums, they cheer. I feel so welcome. There's absolutely nothing I can complain about."
