Seattle Sounders keeper Keller set for one more season

Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Kasey Keller has confirmed he will play at least one more season at the top level.

The 40-year old former Tottenham and Fulham gloveman was positive he would be able to sort a new deal with the Sounders to play on in 2011 following their final regular season match where they lost 2-1 to the Houston Dynamo.

"We're very close to agreeing a contract for next year and we will see how that goes but I would be surprised if I was at least not playing one more year," Keller said.

The Sounders finished fourth on the Western Conference table and will now take on Supporter's Shield winners LA Galaxy in the semi-final first leg at Qwest Field on Sunday, October 31.
