Seattle Sounders have placed goalkeeper Josh Ford on the disabled list.

The 25-year old has fractured the patella (knee cap) in his right leg and will be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Ford will sit on the injured list for that amount of time before being eligible to return to MLS action in early June.
