Seattle Sounders general manager Adrian Hanauer is remaining extremely positive about Premier League club Chelsea's return to the USA.
The West London giants will travel to the Cascadia in the summer to take on the Sounders in a friendly and although the Blues were in town in 2009, Hanauer sees it as another great opportunity for the growing Seattle club.
"We have a great relationship with the organization. We think that they have an exciting team, and they could potentially be (UEFA) Champions League champions.""Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world, which is something we're really focused on," Hanauer told the Seattle Times.
When asked if fans may not be all the excited about Chelsea coming back, Hanauer attempted to ease that potential lack of interest by putting a positive spin on things.
"As I've said on numerous occasions, these games are complicated and we wanted to make sure that we brought one of the top teams. We had an opportunity to snag Chelsea and jumped at it.""Sure, I could certainly see that someone could come to that conclusion," he added.
