Seattle Sounders extend winning streak with come-from-behind win over Chicago Fire

Seattle Sounders are the in-form team in Major League Soccer at present following their fourth win on the trot and seventh in their past eight.

The Sounders found a way to win, coming from a goal down to edged Chicago Fire 2-1 at CenturyLink Field, to move to second place on the Western Conference table and second overall in MLS standings.

Midfielder Servando Carrasco was thrilled with another winning performance which came courtesy of a 40th minute goal from Lamar Neagle as well as a fortuitous own-goal from Gonzalo Segares in the final minute of regular time.

"It's no secret, winning gives you confidence," Carrasco told MLSsoccer.com.

"We're on a tremendous momentum right now and things are going our way. We're playing well, we're creating chances.

"We've been scored on once in four games and when you have that stat, you're going to be in position to win games."

Goalscorer Neagle added: "We knew it was going to be a tough game.

"We had a lot of games, they were going to be coming for us and were in good form. We had a lot more chances we probably should have finished, but it all came out."
