Seattle Sounders continue to target summer signings

Seattle Sounders sporting director Chris Henderson says the club is continuing to identify the types of players they want to bring in this summer.

Henderson visited Europe and South America recently to look more closely at players the MLS club want to bring to CenturyLink Field and says that now the transfer window is about to open, there could be one or two moves in the coming weeks.

"We're always looking, but now as it starts to get closer, we're looking at some specific positions," said Henderson who identified a new central midfielder and central defender as possibilities.

"Those are conversations we have, whether it's going to be right for the team and right for us to try and make a push to improve the team in the window. It's all timing."

The Sounders are still believed to be targeting Levante defender David Navarro.
