Seattle Sounders have announced a multi-year extension to their broadcast deals with Fox-affiliated KCPQ Channel 13 and JOEtv, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The agreement sees the club extend the deals following a first year which saw an increase in 32 per cent and the highest household ratings of any team in the MLS, according to reports.
As well as a 30-minute pre-game show, the agreements will include a post-game show being expanded to 30 minutes along with other Sounders specials and segments.
Seattle Sounders owner Adrian Hanauer said: "As a club, we are thrilled with the success of our local television broadcasts last year - the best in MLS - and have every intention of increasing those numbers in 2015."
In addition to these broadcast deals, the club also reached a separate multi-year agreement with Root Sports, which will continue as the club's out-of-market broadcast partner throughout the northwestern US.
Eight Sounders games will be shown on Fox for the 2015 season, with all other non-national telecasts on JOEtv.
