Portland Timbers defender Pa Modou Kah was extremely critical of Clint Dempsey in the wake of his side's loss to the Seattle Sounders on the weekend.
The Gambian veteran questioned the Sounders' marquee man's ability following Portland's 1-0 defeat at CenturyLink Field by saying 'if he was so good, he would still be with Tottenham'.
Kah was evidently not impressed by the former Fulham and Spurs ace but Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid was quick to defend his star attraction who is arguably the best player the USA has ever produced.
"Who is Kah?" Schmid said simply.
"Has he played anyone? Has he played in any leagues? That's my only comment."
