Barcelona ace Luis Suarez has been helping Seattle Sounders' management, it has been revealed.

Sounders general manager Garth Lagerway revealed how Suarez jumped into a recent conversation with Nico Lodeiro.

"I was talking to Nico and his English is actually pretty good, but it is not always comfortable," recalled Lagerway.

"All of a sudden he said to me: 'Wait, talk to my friend', I said 'OK' and I had no idea what was going on. And then Luis Suarez began to speak: 'Hello, its Luis Suarez, how are you'. And I say: 'Hello, Mr Suarez, how are you'. And he was our translator."
