Marc Burch admits he has something to prove when his new club Seattle Sounders takes on DC United this weekend.
The 27-year old defender left the Washington club to pitch up at Seattle during the off-season and suggests that he is fairly keen to play well when the two clubs meet at the RFK Stadium in Week 5 of the 2012 season.
"It's time to go back and prove that I don't believe that their left back is better than I am. If that's what they think, then that's what they think.
"It's time to go back there and prove that we have a much better team here. And I'm happy to be here.""They had the opportunity to keep me and they didn't," a stern Burch told .
