Seattle Sounders returned to form in front of home fans on the weekend, scoring their first goals at Qwest Field in three months.
The Sounders managed a come-from-behind 2-1 victory of FC Dallas which enabled them to finish second in the Western Conference and go into the play-offs on the back of a three-game winning streak.
It is a great achievement for the expansion club who are in their first season in MLS and coach Sigi Schmid was delighted after the win.
"It was just tremendous to score goals at home again," said head coach Sigi Schmid. "It's been a while since we've scored goals at home so it was great to hear the crowd erupt and allow them to let out all their passion.
"Everything for us is like a speed bump on the road," Schmid added. "Nothing is going to be a detour in terms of what we're trying to do in terms of winning an MLS Cup."
