Seattle Sounders' MLS average attendance record of over 36,000 in 2010 stacks up very well amongst other leagues in the Americas.
Figures shown from attendances in various top leagues within Central and South America shows that the second-year Sounders are indeed right up there competing with more established clubs in much older leagues.
Seattle rank fourth when included in Mexico's Primera Division, dropping just behind Tigres UANL and UNAM who are just over the 40,000 mark and Clube America who came in third.
When compared to Brazil's Serie A, the Sounders are at the top ahead of Corinthians and Fluminense whilst they also top lists in Argentina, Chile and Colombia, attracting more fans to their home matches than the likes of River Plate, Boca Juniors, Atletico Nacional and Colo Colo.
