Seattle's Qwest Field to host US Open Cup final

Seattle Sounders will attempt to defend their 2009 US Open Cup at their home stadium it has been announced.

The Sounders managed to get through to the play-off with a 3-1 defeat of Chivas USA and will meet Columbus Crew, who took down DC United, in the decider at Qwest Field on October 5.

The game will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel and fans can also follow along on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker.

Last season, the Sounders took out the US Open Cup with a 2-1 win over DC United at RFK Stadium in Washington.
