Seattle Sounders forward Fredy Montero is being linked with a move to Europe.

The 22-year old Colombian returned from vacation to his homeland earlier this month to discuss his future with the MLS club and there are rumours suggesting he may be lining up a move to a European club.

Montero has stated that he would love to play in Spain but a shift to either Holland, England or Italy has been mooted.

He joined the Sounders on loan from Deportivo Cali in January last year and made a huge impression in his debut MLS season, winning the league's Newcomer of the Year award.
