Seattle’s Ljungberg, Montero still weighing up options
Seattle Sounders’ midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is still weighing up his options in regards to his playing future.
The former Arsenal star is unsure whether or not he will be back at Qwest Field next season despite enjoying his first campaign in MLS with the fledgling club.
"We'll see what happens," he said. "I love it in Seattle. It's great, and I've had a great first season. I said I would sit down after the season, but it just happened, so I haven't done that yet."
MLS Newcomer of the Year, Fredy Montero, was also not set on the Sounders despite enjoying a brilliant first season after crossing from Colombian outfit Deportivo Cali.
"I'm still not sure. Next week, I'm going to take some time to sit down and talk to my agent, and look at my options," Montero said through an interpreter.
"If the opportunity is here, I'll consider that. But if there are other options, I have to weigh that and see what's best for me and my family."
