Livorno are in talks with Seattle Sounders star Freddie Ljungberg in regards to a potential loan deal. Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has confirmed to TMW in the last 24 hours that he has made contact with the former Arsenal midfielder about a deal to the end of the season with the Serie A club.
Spinelli was tipped off about Ljungberg's situation by Juventus director Roberto Bettega during talks over the sale of Livorno midfielder Antonio Candreva to the Turin giants.
Ljungberg is currently tied to Seattle, but a loan move to Livorno could be on in the coming days.
