Seattle expecting top 10 crowd for USA World Cup qualifier

Seattle's CenturyLink Field could see a top 10 crowd for a World Cup qualifier involving the USA national team on Tuesday night.

The US take on Panama at the home venue of MLS club Seattle Sounders which is likely to attract more than 37,000 fans, surpassing the 2001 match against Costa Rica in Kansas City, which sits as the 10th highest attendance for a WC qualifier.

The Sounders attracted more than 53,00 to their league meeting with Vancouver Whitecaps on the weekend with CenturyLink getting set for another bumped crowd as the US look to enhance their chances of progressing to Brazil 2014.
