Seattle disposes of Colorado in US Open Cup

Seattle Sounders FC defeated the Colorado Rapids 1-0 in a second round US Open Cup play-in game on Tuesday night at the Starfire Sports Complex.

University of Washington graduate and developmental player Kevin Forrest scored the only goal of the game for Seattle with his header in the 62nd minute.

Seattle now goes into the full US Open Cup draw as part of the MLS eight team bracket.
