Seattle Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid believes his team were best in the 1-0 loss to Chivas USA.
"I thought we did more over the 90 minutes than they did," Schmid said.
"I thought we created more chances. I thought we were all around the goal.
"It's not one of those where I can point to the team and say, 'You guys played poorly, or you didn't create chances, or you didn't do this, or you didn't do that,'" Schmid added.
"I thought we did a lot of things well and did enough to deserve a goal.
"(But) right now we're not catching any breaks. We're not getting any in terms of whistles, in terms of the ball bouncing our way a little bit. But you also make your breaks, and maybe we have to work a little bit harder in those key moments."
