Seaman urges Arsenal keeper Szczesny to tone down outspoken ways

Arsenal legend David Seaman is impressed by what he's seen from Wojciech Szczesny.

Seaman is impressed by the Pole's self-belief - to a point.

He told Ian Wright's Absolute Radio Rock N Roll Football Show: "He's got great confidence and like you say, exactly what you said though, he does go over the top a little bit. Maybe somebody needs to have a little word with him because some of the stuff he doesn't need to say.

"His goal keeping speaks for itself, mate. You know, he's a proper goalie. What is he, about 23, 24?

"?Yeah, but he's a quality goalie as well. When you look at his age, when I was at that age I was nowhere near as good as him.

"(At his agent I was) ?Probably at QPR. I was there for four years, I joined Arsenal when I was about 26. I still played in the first division or premier league as it is. He's got a lot of quality, and a good arrogance, but sometimes he just says things that he doesn't need to. He's come off Twitter now because he got into trouble on there, as a lot of people do, but sometime he just needs to rein it in and just let his goal keeping show what he can do."
