Arsenal legend David Seaman believes the Gunners are capable of achieving success in Europe this season.

The North Londoners topped Group A in the Champions League after an unbeaten run in their six group phase matches, suggesting to goalkeeping great Seaman that perhaps this is their season on the continental stage.

However, Seaman feels that Arsene Wenger's side should prioritise with the Premier League having not win the English title since 2004.

"It could be (Arsenal's season in Europe) but I would take the Premier League first just to shut everyone up," said Seaman.

"They've shown they can beat the best in both the Premier League and the Champions League this season.

"They've now get to keep that consistency going because that's where the club have fallen short in the recent past."
